Remote Invigilation Examinations
Requirements
Requirements to successfully attend a remote invigilation examination.
- Mobile device: You will need a mobile phone on which you will download the ProctorExam app.
- A second device (laptop or computer) with web browser, web cam, microphone, and audio. Preferably a non-work computer.
- A clear room free of distractions, books, wine-related maps or posters.
WSET takes the online examination very seriously. Please thoroughly read the attachments ahead of the examination date.
Here are a few reasons the examination will be violated:
- Not having a proper photo ID.
- Using multiple screens or any other material, in any form, other than the on-screen exam.
- Taking notes.
- Other people seen or heard in your room.
- Leaving the room once the examination begins.
- Wearing a watch of any kind.
- Wearing headphones or earplugs.
- No maps, visual aids, bottles of wine, or any wine-related visual aids in the room.
Documents
10 days before your scheduled IR Examination, WSET will send you system check documents. You must complete these before the examination time. If you have not received them, please check your spam folders.
